PolyOps App Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to PolyOps, an AI-powered digital application developed and operated by Polymarq. PolyOps is designed specifically for waste collectors, operators, and managers to streamline operations, optimize routes, manage collections, and grow their waste management business. By using the PolyOps app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully before using the app. If you do not agree, you should not access or use PolyOps.
2. Definitions
Polymarq: Refers to the company that owns and operates the PolyOps app and related digital platforms.
PolyOps: Refers to the mobile and digital application provided by Polymarq specifically for waste collection professionals and operators.
Operator/User: Any individual, business, or entity using the PolyOps app to manage waste collection operations.
Waste Collector: Any registered service provider using PolyOps to manage waste collection activities.
PSP (Private Sector Participant): Licensed private companies or entities providing waste management services through PolyOps.
Informal Actor: Individual waste collectors or small-scale operators approved by Polymarq and recognized by local authorities.
Services: All features provided through PolyOps including route optimization, collection scheduling, customer management, payment processing, reporting, and business analytics.
Wallet System: The integrated digital wallet within PolyOps for managing earnings, payments, and financial transactions.
PolyOps Engine: Refers to Polymarq's proprietary AI algorithms integrated in PolyOps for smart routing, dynamic scheduling, demand prediction, and operational optimization.
Service Area: The geographical region where an operator provides waste collection services through PolyOps.
3. Eligibility and Registration
- Operators must be at least 18 years of age to use PolyOps independently, or have proper business registration for company accounts.
- All waste collectors must be certified entities, individuals recognized by local authorities, or informal actors approved by Polymarq in alignment with local guidelines.
- Operators must complete onboarding requirements including compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Valid business registration, professional licenses, or local authority recognition must be provided during registration.
- By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Polymarq reserves the right to verify credentials and approve or reject applications based on compliance requirements.
4. Operator Responsibilities
4.1 Professional Service Standards
- Provide timely, safe, and professional waste collection and disposal services.
- Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits required in your service area.
- Comply with all local, regional, and national waste management regulations.
- Ensure proper handling, transportation, and disposal of collected waste materials.
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for operations and vehicles.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental protection standards.
4.2 Platform Usage
- Use PolyOps tools (scheduling, routing, customer management) responsibly and accurately.
- Maintain accurate availability status and service capacity information.
- Accept or decline collection requests promptly and professionally.
- Complete assigned collections within agreed timeframes.
- Provide accurate location updates during collection operations.
- Submit truthful service reports and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers through the platform.
- Keep login credentials and account information secure and confidential.
4.3 Restricted Materials
Hazardous waste (including medical, radioactive, explosive, chemical, or toxic waste) is outside the scope of standard PolyOps services unless specifically certified and authorized. Operators must:
- Comply with applicable laws for hazardous waste handling and disposal
- Obtain proper certifications before accepting hazardous materials
- Clearly communicate any restrictions to customers
- Ensure proper safety protocols when handling special waste types
PolyOps and Polymarq are not liable for collection or mishandling of restricted materials unless specifically arranged with certified providers.
5. Platform Features and AI Services
- Operators acknowledge that AI-powered features in PolyOps (route optimization, demand prediction, scheduling suggestions) are for informational and operational assistance purposes.
- The PolyOps Engine provides recommendations based on data analysis, but final operational decisions remain with the operator.
- Polymarq does not guarantee specific outcomes from AI-driven recommendations and is not liable for variations in results.
- Real-time dashboards, performance metrics, and analytics are provided for business insight purposes.
- PolyOps may display relevant business opportunities, advertisements, and promotional content for operators.
- While Polymarq carefully selects partners, it does not endorse and is not responsible for third-party products or services advertised.
6. Earnings, Payments, and Wallet System
- All operators must maintain an active wallet account within PolyOps for earnings management.
- Customer payments for services are processed through the platform and deposited into your PolyOps wallet.
- Service fees charged by Polymarq are clearly disclosed and deducted from earnings before wallet deposits.
- Operators set their own service rates within platform guidelines and local market standards.
- Earnings can be withdrawn to registered bank accounts or mobile money accounts.
- Withdrawal processing times and any associated fees are clearly displayed in the app.
- All financial transactions are recorded and accessible through the app's transaction history.
- Operators are responsible for tax obligations related to earnings from waste collection services.
- Disputed payments must be reported within 72 hours of the transaction.
- Refunds and adjustments are processed according to platform policies and may be subject to processing fees.
7. Data Privacy and Security
- Polymarq's practices regarding personal and operational data collection, use, and disclosure are governed by our Privacy Policy.
- Location data, route information, and operational data may be shared with relevant parties (customers, municipalities, partner organizations) for service delivery.
- Performance data and analytics may be used to improve platform services and provide business insights.
- Operators are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and wallet access information.
- Customer information accessed through PolyOps must be used solely for service delivery purposes.
8. Service Standards and Performance
- Operators are expected to maintain professional service standards and customer satisfaction ratings.
- Performance metrics including completion rates, punctuality, and customer feedback are monitored.
- Consistently poor performance may result in account suspension or service area restrictions.
- Operators may participate in rating and review systems to build reputation and customer trust.
- Incentive programs and performance bonuses may be offered and can be modified or terminated at any time.
- Training resources and best practices may be provided through the platform.
9. Liability and Risk Management
USE OF POLYOPS AND RELATED SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
- Polymarq disclaims all warranties regarding platform performance, accuracy, reliability, and fitness for specific business purposes.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polymarq shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.
- Operators remain solely responsible for their waste collection operations, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Polymarq acts solely as a digital platform facilitator and is not responsible for operator services or customer interactions.
- Operators must maintain appropriate insurance coverage for their operations and are liable for any damages or injuries during service delivery.
- Platform availability may be affected by factors outside Polymarq's control including network failures, maintenance, or force majeure events.
10. Account Management and Termination
- Operators may deactivate their PolyOps account at any time through the app settings.
- Polymarq may suspend or terminate accounts in cases of fraud, regulatory violations, consistently poor performance, or violation of these Terms.
- Before termination, operators will have the opportunity to withdraw available earnings from their wallet.
- Account suspension or termination does not release operators from outstanding obligations or liabilities.
- Terminated operators may appeal decisions through the support process outlined in Section 15.
11. User-Generated Content and Reporting
- Operators may submit service reports, photos, location data, incident reports, and other operational content through PolyOps.
- By submitting content, you grant Polymarq a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use this content for platform improvement, analytics, customer service, and promotional purposes.
- All content must be accurate, truthful, and comply with applicable laws and platform guidelines.
- Polymarq reserves the right to remove inappropriate content and may suspend accounts for policy violations.
- Personal data within user-generated content remains subject to the Privacy Policy.
12. Intellectual Property
- All content, algorithms, software, branding, and technology associated with PolyOps are owned by Polymarq and protected under intellectual property laws.
- Operators may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit any part of PolyOps without prior written consent.
- The PolyOps name, logo, and branding may not be used for promotional purposes without authorization.
- Operators retain ownership of their business data but grant Polymarq usage rights as specified in these Terms.
13. Platform Updates and Modifications
- Polymarq may update PolyOps features, interface, and functionality to improve services and maintain security.
- Significant changes to these Terms will be communicated to operators with reasonable advance notice.
- Continued use of PolyOps after changes constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
- Operators who disagree with significant changes may terminate their accounts before the changes take effect.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, where Polymarq operates. Any disputes arising from the use of PolyOps shall be resolved through the following process:
- Direct communication with Polymarq support team
- Mediation through agreed third-party mediators if necessary
- Final resolution under applicable Nigerian laws and courts
